Portrait of Elizabeth I
From history

Elizabeth I

Queen of England, 1558 to 1603

Settled England’s religious conflict with a Protestant church, defeated the Spanish Armada in 1588 and presided over a flourishing of the arts.

Elizabeth I sits in the right-authoritarian part of the Caucus economy and liberty compass: slightly free market and strongly authoritarian. The clearest positions are strongly nationalist on nation, strongly authoritarian on liberty and authority and strongly traditional on culture.
