Philosopher and tutor of Alexander the Great, 384 to 322 BCE

Studied dozens of Greek constitutions and favored a mixed government led by a broad middle class. His Politics also defended slavery and the subordination of women.

Aristotle sits in the right-authoritarian part of the Caucus economy and liberty compass: leaning free market and leaning authoritarian. The clearest positions are strongly institutional on institutions, strongly traditional on culture and leaning free market on economy.
